I'm a few days late, but we're all still a dollar short

March 8 was the 100th annual International Women's Day.

International Women's Day is hardly recognized in America.  In fact, I didn't really know about it until my friends and I began going overseas.  Perhaps that's where the problem lies...giving women even just one day a year isn't a cultural priority.  What can we do to change this?

In my ideal world, women and girls would be given the attention and concern they receive on International Women's Day everyday.
